The Kershaw Whirlwind is a spring assisted knife with SpeedSafe technology. Give the thumb-stud a push and the knife takes over and finishes opening the blade. The Whirlwind has a 14C28N blade and the handle is glass-filled nylon (GFN) for its toughness and lightweight attributes.
